gosh this is so sad! i mean this crunch is just goin on and on and on... and keith lango says 2010 will be even WORSE?? holy moly! and to think, i just wrote a post on 2009 being my SPECIAL year!!

it's so disheartening to see EXCEPTIONALLY talented people being laid off, ONLY because the studios have no projects. that makes me sometimes wonder, where the heck do I stand amongst these GIANTS!! i also wonder how long this crunch will continue! and although jobs are still available, it's only going to be a cut-throat competition! time to sharpen our skills even FURTHER and work our ASSES off!!

i still and shall always have faith in animation, that one day it'll boom again, and we shall all rise. that's all i can wish, hope and pray for...

dont lose hope guys, we're still here, we shall overcome this...

THIS TOO SHALL PASS...

until then, keep the passion burning!

Heard about this from long ...last entire year it was lot's of news and discussion about crisis and how it's affecting the industry ...but are we sure that it's the only reason ...i have heard about a studio who suddenly decided to go only for in-house production, some studio who lost it's money in financing some flop bollywood film etc ...which inturn is affecting the artist working for them ...

...and if this article at AAA blog is true VCL is planning to take 300 to 1500 animators in span of three years (oops !) ...and other studios are joining in ...hoping this to be happen and keeping my fingers crossed !

ya guys this is the worst time for all. Well i believe in a saying "everything happens for good". And dapoon ur ture, if we got to survive we got to be the best and what i feel is doin only animation doesnt help. I love to create my own content and produce films. And i strongly feel, This is the time for indians to start doin something original which is fascinating and appealing for indian audience. We dont have ne original content at all. So what are we waiting for?
