timing feels good in blocking..i mean your pauses inbetween looks working and might sell weight clearly once u open up. one thing i can suggest is redoing the hands in FK ,or u'll be spending a lot of time tracking the arcs. i mean, i was just wondering ,why u need IK there?! it's unnecessary trouble..especially when hands are doing very less action in a hop. track the arcs of the hip and check (in side view) the position of hip..feels like and off balance pose to me..
the best way is to make a friend do the hope for you and see how he/she balance the body..mostly there will be a movement (leading) in the legs prior to hip..well, i guess..act act act is the key :) good goin
hey thats a nice one, in fact wanted to try a hop sometime...really sometime...
I think Roshan has already commented which i think is flawless.
So, shooting a video reference and then trying to pose will help.
Good luck :)

i totally agree..once i started doin the hands(din sepnd much time on them though :) )i cud c the problme id be facing...will be re-doing it in FK...
ill check the hip...
i had shot myself doin a hop..guess id have to redo it :)...
rodenthought:thanx for droppin by!
will be posting updates soon
Hey appie . Good start. Well rosh has said everything. Just one thing, track all ur arcs 1st. Arcs are really important in jumps and hops. This will make ur animation look good and u can go for other details later. I know u still working on timing, small suggestion, Ur sense of timing will define weight in hops. Just take care of tht. Good going
pretty nice blocking..
most of the things seem to be working.. except for few things that are already mentioned by monster buddies :) .. just one observation.. the hands seem to have the same "V" position whether its up or down during the hop.. i think loosening the "V" angle when the hands drop and then quickly going back to the original position would make it look natural.. other wise good job..
am sure by now there wil b an updated version of this hop.. anyways looking forward to see the next version..
