JUMP

hey gyz,
M done with ma jump assignment. It was fun animating . I couldn't post this earlier as i'd some issues with ma blog. But now ya i could fix it. Thanx to dapoon.

Neways, i'l be waiting for c&c's.

hi jeevith....this is great stuff man, u have really improved a lot..great going..

but i still feel u can work on it more..few thing that i would work on r...

* the force of the jump could be more i feel..the movement he goes up on the wall...u know push him even more down and then the Take off.

*i love the hang time, really nice..

* the hand movements r good.

* u can work on ur graph.

* I feel the landing much be a bit faster.

n prasad,i am sure..he did that wind mill movement in the end to avoid the landing..because landing is more difficult..BWhahhehe!!

Thats it for now...but great stuff man keep up the good work!!

yo jeevithness! this is a pleasant surprise! u've improved by leaps (literally!)!! i love the hang time! i even liked the windmill action, it's kinda new from whatever the previous sems have done! however as harish rightly put it, the push in the antic for the jump is less, and the landing can be faster! trust me man, this is looking promising! if u can just correct them, it'll look awesome! keep at it! dont lose the drive!! ;)

nice work man. i like the force in the landing part a lot, eventhough the player sux towards the end of all animation clips.:) couldn't really make out what was happening afer that. b4 that, i think the hang time is a little too much...or a little even for a long time... the hand moments need more flow and better timing i guess..especially when he's up in air and the part where hand goes up-rests-and rotate...i got the effect u wanted, but execution needs a lil more timing adjustment :) and out of the regular comments, on tip...think free about stretch and squash ..especially when the camera is far from the character, u can cheat a lot..to get a very cartoonic,yet believable stretch :D ..think about it ..think experimental :) good job !

Jump looks good.And I guess you got most of the correction. I'm agree with Roshan about Hang time.

My Concern is 'Composition choice.' To me its lookin ' Building Asgnmt' instead of Jump. This may work in Screening room but Computer screen ..I Doubt..
As a Whole...Its Looking good but I guess you would like to show him more so tht we can see the clear Run, Jump and landing... and take this asgnmt from Good to Very Good... :)

i had no other choice,i'd to stick on to this camera view as m not show the landing part... but the other wen manu sir saw our work he told me show him settling aftr he lands. may be then i can change the camera view.. lets see...
